Biography

Jeremiah Velez is a growing professional violinist and sound engineer, located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s of Arts in Music and is currently employed at Saint James Episcopal Church as their Tech Assistant.

Jeremiah is a visionary. Growing up in Lancaster around music flourishing everywhere, it built him into the person he is today. With the ultimate goal of giving back to that community that gave so much to him. His current set of goals include doing community outreach to inspire and cultivate the same community that gave him the best gift he could ask for: the love of music.

Jeremiah currently attends Millersville University, where he studies violin. Jeremiah also plays the French Horn in Concert Band. He hopes to graduate by May 2028. In the meantime, he is working towards building his professional repertoire and becoming a well of knowledge for his students.

Jeremiah also composes in his free time. He has composed a few works for string orchestra and is hoping to branch out into other orchestration of instruments.

Currently, Jeremiah works at Saint James where he runs all tech related items. He most importantly runs the livestream audio and video, does set up for bigger masses and events, and is working towards making improvements for the online experience of parishioners.
